About Our Initiative
One patient in NZ = One patient in the less developed country

Over the past 3 years, we have been undertaking research into skill and career diversification for junior doctors. From our research, we've found there is increasing job dissatisfaction and high demand for career diversification among junior doctors internationally. In Australia and NZ we suspect we are following that trend. Founded in 2014 by a group of junior doctors, Beyond the Stethoscope (BTS) Network has been working hard with the help of our members and volunteers to help many fellow junior doctors and many lives in the less developed countries. Our work is dedicated to funding and delivering charitable services, and we strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who need assistance. Get in touch to learn how you can make a difference at our charity.
